The Free Plan is a limited version of the application. It gives you access to the tools listed on our pricing page under the Free category.
Free Trial grants you temporary access to the Pro version of the application for a limited time. It lasts 10 days for you to test all the tools and features and see if you're interested in becoming a subscriber.
After 10 days, your Trial will end, and your account will switch to the Free version with a limited toolset. You can check the difference in available tools for the Free and Pro plans on our pricing page.
Even if you accidentally cancel your free trial, you will still have access to the SelfCAD editor for the remainder of the free trial period that you originally signed up for.
You will need an internet connection to load the application in the browser. Once SelfCAD has fully loaded, however, an internet connection is only needed to save files to the server if that’s how you wish to save your files. You can continue to use the SelfCAD software while offline. Alternatively, you can save files to your computer, but you will still need an internet connection to initially load the software.
Your plan will be not affected by the price increase.
What is SelfCAD Free Trial?
The Free Trial is a short period of time when you're given full access to SelfCAD's tools and features. The trial lasts 10 days to make sure you'll have a chance to test all of our modeling features in action.
It's a one-time offer for users who signed up for the Power User plan for the first time. The trial allows you to familiarize yourself with the software and its features before your first billing, and you can cancel it for free before the first payment. Once the Free Trial ends, your subscription will become active, and you'll be billed accordingly to your chosen schedule.
What is SelfCAD Free Account?
Free Account gives you access to a limited number of features available for Power Users. You can check the complete list of differences between plans at selfcad.com/pricing. Your account will be downgraded to the Free Account when you cancel the subscription.
So, what's the difference?
Free Account is designed to give you a first look at the software itself, and try its basic tools and features to decide whether it's the correct choice for you. There is no time-limit, so you can use the limited version for as long as you like.
Free Trial, on the other hand, is designed to give you a taste of what SelfCAD is truly capable of. It's a short access to all of the functionalities the software has to offer.
To start your Free Trial, you need to sign up for the Power User plan, but don't worry. When you get a taste of what the software is capable of, you won't be able to get enough of it.
You can cancel your SelfCAD subscription at any time. However, SelfCAD does not offer refunds.
Currently, you can pay using Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. More payment options will become available in the future.
If you need to sign in to your account using email and password after signing up either using Google, Facebook, or Twitter you can follow these steps: First, log out of the app. Then, go to the login page and enter your email address.
