Go to the 3D Shapes and select a Cube:
Set the Cube parameters as shown below:
On the right panel, click on the Settings icon to hide the sofa and remain with the cube. Turn on the Solid + Wireframe mode. Activate the Polygon selection and use it to select the top face of the cube:
On the Deform category on the toolbar, select the Inflate tool. Inflate the polygon upwards by clicking on the Gizmo and dragging it upwards:
Then go to the toolbar on the Tools category and select the Copy Offsets tool. Position it by setting the Z-axis to 50 and make the number of copies to 6.
Finalizing the Copy Offset tool, this is what is formed:
Go to the Utilities and select the Merge tool to combine the copies made:
On the toolbar go to the Modify category and select the Round Object tool. Set the Smoothness to 2:
Unhide the sofa. In this section, we want to place the cushion on the sofa. This is by aligning the sofa and the cushion. On the toolbar, go to the Utilities category, and select the Align tool. Set the Reference to the sofa (Mesh 1_1), and Align it to the Middle.
You can then use the Move tool to position it well on the cushion.
Designing the 3D Pillow
In this section, we want to see how to design a pillow. On the toolbar, go to the 3D Shapes and select a Cube. Set the parameters as follows:
Use the Rotate tool on the toolbar to rotate the pillow. Set the Z-axis to 90 degrees.
On the right panel, activate the Polygon Selection. Use it to select the larger polygons. Go to the Deform category and select the Inflate tool. Inflate the larger sides outwards. Then select again the smaller sides polygons and use the Inflate tool to inflate them inwards to form the object shown below:
Select the cube (pillow), go to the Modify category and select the Round Object tool. Set the Smoothness to 2:
The next step is to position the pillow on the sofa. Go to the Utilities, and select the Align tool. Set the Reference to object 210 (cushion) and align it to the top> Left. Offset the X-axis by 50:
Then you can use the Rotate tool and Move tool to position it better:
To create more pillows, go to the Utilities category and select the Copy Offset tool. Set the Position of the X-axis to 70 and the number of copies to 3:
Click copy, and there you go:
