How to 3D Model a Staircase in SelfCAD and Apply Textures

Steps to Making a Staircase With Texture Design in SelfCAD
In this section, we will look at how to design a staircase using the various tools in SelfCAD and the steps for applying textures. To begin, launch SelfCAD and open workspace:
From the 3D Shapes, select the Cube:
Set the parameters of the cube as shown below:
Tick the check mark to finalize the cube. Set the rendering mode to Solid + Wireframe:
Activate the Face Selection and select the faces shown below. Then from the Modify category, select Extrusion:
Set the Amount to 50, and tick the check mark to finalize the extrusion:
Select the highlighted face, and select the Extrusion in the Modify category:
Set the Amount to 50 and tick the check mark to finalize the extrusion:
Activate the Edge Selection, and select the edges shown below. From the Modify category, select the Fillet:
Set the Fillet Level to 5, and tick the check mark to finalize:
Select the edges as shown below and select Fillet from the Modify:
Set the Fillet Level to 5, and in the Advanced Settings set the Bevel Offset to -0.5:
Tick the check mark to finalize the operation. On the right side panel, activate the Polygon Selection and select the region shown below:
Select the polygons all around, and click on Materials. Set the Wireframe to false:
Set the Settings to Textures:
Set the Texture category to Wood:
Click the Wood 1 button to apply texture:
Set the settings to UV:
Set Mapping to Face UV:
Tick the check mark to finalize the materials:
Activate the face selection, and select the faces highlighted. Click on the Materials icon, and on the Set Settings to Textures:
Set Texture category to Wood:
Click the Wood 3 button to apply texture:
Set the Settings to UV:
Set the Mapping to Face UV:
Tick the check mark to finalize the materials:
Select the faces on the right panel to activate the Materials:
Set the Settings to Textures:
Set the Texture category to Custom:
Click on the Add and set the Load Image From Tutorial:
Click on the Image, and set the settings to UV:
Set the Mapping to Face UV:
Tick the check mark to finalize the materials:
Select the faces, and choose Materials:
Set the Material to false, and on the Settings, set Material to Physical Material:
Click on the Color picker, select the Silver color, and click ok to confirm the color:
Click on the Emissive to change the color, select the Silver color, and click ok to confirm the color:
Set the Roughness to 1, Metalness to 1, and set the Smooth Shading to false. Tick the check mark to finalize the materials:
