How to 3D Design Custom Keychains Using SelfCAD

SelfCAD is a really easy tool to use for 3D modeling, and making custom designs.With its simple tools and features, you can quickly create your own designs, like keychains, and make them exactly how you want. It’s a great choice if you want to create 3D models without the complicated stuff. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to create a custom keychain step-by-step in SelfCAD. On the toolbar from 3D Shapes, select the Cube:

Set the parameters as shown and tick the check mark to finalize the cube:

Activate the Edge Selection and use it to select the edges at the corner of the cube:

Then select the Fillet tool from the Modify category:

Set the Intensity to 3 and the Level to 10:

Tick the check mark to finalize the Fillet, and click on the Copy button to make the copy of the object:

Select the Scale tool and use the gizmos to set X, Y and Z:

Click “X” to close the panel. Select the Move Tool and use the gizmos to set Y to 2:

Click “X” to close the transformation panel. Select the Cylinder from the 3D Shapes:

Select all the three objects and, select Stitch and Scoop tool. Select the Difference tool and choose mesh 14 and mesh 6:

Type the text as shown, set the font and parameters as shown:
